Chinese Cabbage

Chinese cabbage or ‘china’ cabbage has cream-colored leaves with green tips. These leaves are thickly veined, elongated, and loosely packed. Unlike the strong-flavored waxy leaves on round heads of cabbage, Chinese cabbage is thin, crisp, and delicately mild. Chinese cabbage grows best in cooler temperatures. It got its name because it was first discovered as a medicinal plant in the Yangtze delta region.

Like other cabbage types, Chinese cabbage is also antioxidant rich. Research shows it can fight anemia, fatigue, and pain. Properties in Chinese cabbage can fight off bacteria and keep skin healthy.

Temperature:Chinese cabbage is kept best at 41 degrees.
