Recent studies have shown that yams raise the blood level of vitamin A in a superior way. Steaming or boiling a sweet potato provides the best form of nutrient extraction. Cooked sweet potatoes are high in fiber.
Temperature:Yams do not need to be kept cold. 50-60 degrees is a sufficient storage temperature.
