Skip Consalo
CEO
Born and raised in Vineland, Skip Consalo began his career in produce at age fourteen. He was raised in the industry and began working on the family farm packing product, loading trucks and gaining knowledge from his father and grandfather. Skip’s father, Andy Consalo had a stellar reputation for ethics, service, and quality. Skip was taught that the customer is always the main focus. His reputation for delivering quality merchandise at a fair price became known in the produce industry. His passion and dedication for the business allowed him to turn Consalo Family Farms into a vertically integrated 4th generation family farming, distribution and import company with 52-week supply capabilities. He has continued to make a positive impact in the local community and beyond with his generosity and support for schools, charitable organizations, food banks, and more. Skip was recognized in The Packer 25 in 2020 and received the Italian Cultural Foundation’s Spirit of Achievement Award in 2023.
Chelsea Consalo

Chelsea joined the family business shortly after college graduation. After starting to work full-time, she quickly developed a passion for farming and has become thoroughly involved in farm-personnel management and compliance. She also oversees food safety, marketing, and public relations.
Chelsea was an Ambassador for the North American Blueberry Council and United States Highbush Blueberry Council in 2018 and 2019. She was a graduate of Produce Marketing Association's Emerging Leaders Program in 2020. In 2021, she was recognized by The Packer in Women in Produce and by Produce Business in the 40-under-Forty. In 2022, Chelsea was a career ambassador for the International Fresh Produce Association, serving as a student mentor. She was accepted into and attended the esteemed Agribusiness program at Harvard Business School in January of 2023.
Chelsea's enthusiasm for and involvement in the blueberry industry is extensive. She is currently a member of the New Jersey Blueberry Advisory Council and is the treasurer for the New Jersey Blueberry Growers Association. She was elected as a delegate to the NJ State Agricultural Conventional in 2023 and 2024 and represented the New Jersey Blueberry Growers Association. She is a member of the North American Blueberry Council board of directors, chair of the United States Highbush Blueberry Council's food safety task force and is the USHBC's alternate council member for New Jersey.
She is passionate about community outreach and fundraising and was recently elected Vice President for Spirit & Truth Ministries/Vineland Soup Kitchen.
Sarah Consalo

At a very early age Sarah was introduced to the idea of working in the family business but she originally had a different career in mind – Dressage. Sarahs love for horses came from her Grandfather who had horses on his farm. Sarah started riding horses during her freshman year of High School and she immediately fell in love. She started competing in regional dressage events along the East Coast and in 2019 she was able to as an international dressage rider – placing the highest adult amateur score at the famous “Dressage at Devon” in Devon, PA. Sarah earned her silver medal and is working towards her gold for the United States Dressage Federation.
After graduating from Rowan University, she ultimately decided that she wanted to join her siblings and her father in the family business. Sarah worked in all facets of the company to see which aspect of the business she liked best. She found her niche in the accounting side of the company and is now the VP of Finance. Sarah has not left her love for horses behind. She shares that passion with her mother and the two of them launched their own facility on the family property. They care for their own barn where they have competition horses, rescues and their beloved Clydesdales. She feels that she was able to obtain the best of both worlds.
AJ Consalo

At the age of fourteen, AJ started working for his father during the summers. He was very interested in produce and knew early on that he eventually wanted to work in the family business. With that in mind, AJ attended Saint Josephs University and while there studied Food Marketing. He graduated in 2017 with a degree in business administration. After college his roles included crop management and overseeing packing for the company’s farms. He recently transitioned to the sales and procurement team and oversees all vegetable procurement for Consalo Family Farms.
